Pawn movement is nearly unchanged. They advance forward, capture to the side, and capture en passant. Promotion is entirely unchanged as well.

There is one important difference however. Unlike in square chess, pawns can move two spaces from friendly starting positions. Put simply, if a pawn ends up on it's neighbor's starting position, it can still move two spaces.
